SCV Restaurant Review:

Urban Cafe`

Food: A+
Service: A+
Appeal: A-
Overall Grade: A+

Urban Cafe` is a cute, cozy sandwich shop. It is safe to say that it is definitely has the BEST bread ever, probably because they make their bread from scratch everyday. There is tons of choices, and you can even make you own sandwich. I highly recommend it!

In a hurry? Here is a quick, easy recipe that is grab-n-go friendly!

One of the best recipes I can think of off the top of my head is the Totally Awesome Tortellini Alfredo from the Better Homes and Gardens New Junior Cookbook. It is very delicious, and it only takes 25 minutes from start to finish!

Ingredients:
1 8-ounce package of boneless ham
1 9-ounce package refrigerated three-cheese tortellini
1 1/2 cups package broccoli florets
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic recipe
1 8-ounce tub of cream cheese
1/2 cup milk
salt and pepper (if you like)
grated Parmesan cheese (if you like)

Step 1. Cook tortellini in a large saucepan following the package instructions, adding the broccoli with the pasta. Turn off the burner. Carefully pour tortellini mixture into a colander.

Step 2. Add butter to an empty saucepan. Put the saucepan on a burner and turn it on medium-low heat. Cook for about 20 seconds, then add the garlic. Cook for 30 seconds, stirring with a wooden spoon. Use a rubber scraper to remove half the cream cheese from the tub and add it to the saucepan. Save the remaining cream cheese, if you wish. Then add milk to the mixture and stir with a wire whisk until smooth. Add Ham. Turn off burner and remove saucepan.

Step 3. Add tortellini mixture to Ham mixture in the saucepan. Combine. Then serve and enjoy!

Makes 4-5 serving. About 450 calories per serving.
